Adventure to Game Knight Games... Wine Included.

Game Knight Games - 726 Osborne Street
Another beautiful day in Winnipeg. With a day off from our regular 9-5's, we went to Game Knight Games. It's a neat store with Fantasy games, toys and other cool things. Surprisingly half of the business is a wine store as well. Get drunk and play games? You decide! Check them out and tell the the THRIFT DWELLERS sent you... More after the jump.

He was very nice
We were greeted with open arms when we arrived. We assumed they were the owners of the store, they were very nice and courteous. In fact, NC got a nice lesson on some of the games that were sold from the owner. He was really informative and was really cool, he knew his stuff! Without a shadow of a doubt I will give him the official recognition of being hardcore. Like any store of this nature, they carry Magic cards etc, Dungeon's and Dragon type games and toys. Game Knight Games has an area for gamers to play on the top floor and have get togethers.

Inside the store...

Watching...
A unique feature that Game Knight had was an Apple iPad. You had the option of selecting a video of some of the games they sold! It's hard to see, but we were watching a video on a Lord Of The Rings board game. Personally, this sold me on the game lol. It's a great advertising tool. Reminder to self.. leave an iPad in the bus with our website only connected to it.

A wall of games
Mini figures, don't know for which games.
TRANSFORMERS building sets and lunch box. DOPE!
NC loves PS3 and X-Men
More games and toys
Super Mario Yahtzee
Wait! There's more...

The other half of the Game Knight had a wine business. It was a very unique store indeed! NC and I thought it was amazing. Need to get stuff bottled or need wine supplies? They got you covered. Talk about having 2 niche businesses in one. Pretty smart!

It looks so neat.
This picture reminds me of Resident Evil, pre-rendered background and looking for something. A key perhaps?
More supplies
37 Grain Types son!
The Pickups...

On this particular day, NC found a Resident Evil board game Deck Building Game. I've never played a game of this nature. So it will be quite the experience. We will soon have our thoughts on the game on the blog sometime soon.

He keeps it street.
Happy Thrifting!

Nintendo Wii Motion Plus for $3.99 found at Value Village. I don't know if it was a screw up from an employee as the Motion Plus attachment was in the rubber sleeve. It may have been overlooked when they put it out on the floor. Nintendo did release Motion Plus controllers, only time will tell if the attachments are sought out for in the future.
