Resident music collector reaches his goal... feeling happy. =) Hey guys, long time no post. It's d_cypher (aka LP, Lester). For the readers of the blog, I'm here to share what's been a goal maybe for the past year (perhaps my lifetime?). I have reached over 1000 CD's! Yes, over 1000 and I'm STILL on the hunt to look for albums I'm missing. Music runs down my veins and digital downloads will NEVER EVER take over in my book. Definitely continue to click on READ MORE for the list.

The Next (and Last?) Monday Nitro Pickups

I Explain in this weeks Monday Nitro Pickups 17, this may be one of the few remaining video game pick ups. I also show the CHEAP NINTENDO FAMICOM that I found in Flea Market. It was an outstanding price and I was very happy to find it. My friend Phil was recently in the Phillipinese and he couldn't even find one there. =) Check it out! Thank you for watching. Check us out on Facebook! -Happy Thrifting

Manitotba Comic Exchange 2012

Part of what we do at 204 HIPHOPROBONINJAZOMBIETURTLES is represent our city, Winnipeg. I know we aren`t a food blog per say, but Thrift Dwellers need fuel too. So, let me present to you,  Un burger , Winnipeg`s healthy gourmet burger joint. I would say I know what a good burger tastes like, having eaten them before =P, but they say in the restaurant (literally written on the wall) they love burgers so much, they wanted to make ones that you could eat everyday... could  Un burger deliver on this promise? (I hope so)

Adventure to Game Knight Games... Wine Included.

Game Knight Games - 726 Osborne Street Another beautiful day in Winnipeg. With a day off from our regular 9-5's, we went to Game Knight Games. It's a neat store with Fantasy games, toys and other cool things. Surprisingly half of the business is a wine store as well. Get drunk and play games? You decide! Check them out and tell the the THRIFT DWELLERS sent you... More after the jump.

A day off. Let's go to the music store!

A nice, sunny and somewhat cold day. Where else to spend it but at a local music store. The spot? Music Trader here in Winnipeg. It's a great store in Osborne Village, and has been a great source for most of my collection in the past 10+ years. I usually visit Music Trader on my days off. Here's a tour and my finds.

Sexy Time at the Joy House Auction, Winnipeg

Posted by nesn8 and d.cypher A "what" kind of family?  Sold for $10 Thirsty's Auction House - Jan 24 2012, 1900hrs. There were many personal heroes here tonight. Artist Leo Mol, Nintendo, Wolverine... even Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant... Yes, I know Nintendo is not a person, and "Yes" those people were NOT actually there, but a fair representation of them and many other items were on hand at tonight's auction. With such a diversity of items and a full house (as full as thirsty's can actually get), we needed all the help we could get, so we recruited out friend Poppa P to help us out. How did we do? Well, we did snag some unusual stuff, judging by that 7up ad, who knows what we got? Let's examine the night...
