A Complete Boxed NES Collection - The Last Gamer

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step."
-Lao Tzu
Remember when you set out to collect all those retro games? What was your goal? Some of us just wanted those personal favourites, some of us were more ambitious, but this guy may take the 8-bit cake! Fellow YouTube Retro Game Blogger "The Last Gamer" recently posted on his Facebook page this picture where he has completed a collection of the original Nintendo Entertainment System video game library, both licenced and unlicensed. If you look at the picture, it looks like at least every game is boxed if not complete with manuals...

Goals are just dreams with deadlines
The Last Gamer stated this collection took him over 7 years to complete. If you follow him online, he does mostly online deals with the occasional local pickup. When he says he has every game, he means every game (check the comments on his FB page) Here would be some notable titles his collection would have:

Stadium Events (Non PAL version) - $75000 Complete
Nintendo World Championships (Grey) - $113000
Nintendo World Championships (Gold) - $201000
Little Samson - $1500 Complete
Flinstones Dino Peak - $721.00 Loose

All prices are USD from www.pricecharting.com. Please note, we mention these games but have not verified they are in his collection. This is just for curiosity sake.

Congratulations to The Last Gamer! Good job!

My Top 3 Loved Worn Nike Dunks

In honour of this past Lover's day, I have 3 of my most loved, worn (not new) Nike Dunks from my collection. Brand new, these kicks can be worth b/w $250 - $350, mainly because they are sold out, and only available through Nike Select SB dealers in the first place. If you see these at the thrift store, pick them up, I've read of kids finding Dunk SBs and even early JORDANS and selling them to Japan for hundreds... Not bad for $10 investments.... So gather round as we discuss more shoes... and hopefully you can become a little smarter "thrifter." (also check out my previous Dunk Post - Avengers )
