Quick Album Thoughts: The Birthday Massacre - Hide And Seek (2012)

The Birthday Massacre

Hide And Seek is The Birthday Massacre's newest album released this month, and is nothing but pure excellence from not only a great band. But a Canadian band at that!

Following the theme of their album covers, it is again purple and black.

This is one of the those rare albums that you cannot skip any tracks. It's that good! The production and lyrics are top notch and will not disappoint current Birthday Massacre fans and new fans listening to their music for the first time. You can seriously put this album on repeat all day long and not get tired of it. In fact, Hide And Seek has been in my constant rotation. That's how much I love this album. If you are into synths, dark lyrics and catchy tunes. Definitely give this album a chance.

Track Listing:

02. Down
03. Play With Fire
04. Need
05. Calling
06. Alibis
07. One Promise
08. In This Moment

Available on CD and Vinyl. The Vinyl version was only pressed to 1000 copies! It would be a rarity between fans of the band. But I did not pick up the Vinyl version.

Nintendo Wii Motion Plus for $3.99 found at Value Village. I don't know if it was a screw up from an employee as the Motion Plus attachment was in the rubber sleeve. It may have been overlooked when they put it out on the floor. Nintendo did release Motion Plus controllers, only time will tell if the attachments are sought out for in the future.
