Whitney Houston Dead at 48

A brilliant voice of our generation has been lost. The Queen of Pop, Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverley Hills Hotel at the age of 48. No cause has been released at this time, but what is known is that another raw talent has left this earth prematurely. Although the recent years of her life have been mered in controversy, the legacy she has left and the music she has made will live on for generations.

Whitney Houston was the female force of the late 80's, she was the first female to have a no.1 best selling album and the inspiration of many superstars, such as Brandy and Christna Aguilera. With songs like I Will Always Love You and The Greatest Love of All, her unforgettable voice was not only the soundtrack to movies, but also our lives. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

My Top 3 Loved Worn Nike Dunks

In honour of this past Lover's day, I have 3 of my most loved, worn (not new) Nike Dunks from my collection. Brand new, these kicks can be worth b/w $250 - $350, mainly because they are sold out, and only available through Nike Select SB dealers in the first place. If you see these at the thrift store, pick them up, I've read of kids finding Dunk SBs and even early JORDANS and selling them to Japan for hundreds... Not bad for $10 investments.... So gather round as we discuss more shoes... and hopefully you can become a little smarter "thrifter." (also check out my previous Dunk Post - Avengers )

Sega Genesis Upgrade - Retro-Bit AV Cord Review

Retro-Bit AV Cord for the Sega Genesis Model 2 $10 (PNP Games) If there is one MAJOR drawback in Sega Genesis Retro Gaming, it's that the standard Sega Genesis only came with the RF Coaxial connector. Everyone knows that this means a lower visual clarity, especially when connecting to a HD Television. But what can we do? Retro Bit offers this, an AV cord for $10. Is it worth it? Can this be the solution to my problem? (P.S. Nothing can help my problems!=) More after the jump...
