Mario's Golden Coin = $450.00 USD?

Value Village Find

Today at the Thrift, we found a factory sealed Super Mario Land 2 for the Gameboy for $4.99. A good start to the Thrifting Year!

Enjoying a well deserved coffee after a great hunt!
Happy day, $5 for Mario's Golden Coins? Good deal! We found a FACTORY SEALED Super Mario Land 2 for the Original Game Boy for $4.99. A quick EBAY search had 1 listed for $450, for my sake, I hope it sells for that!

The Story
Like all of mario's games, he must battle through new worlds and enemies to find the 6 golden coins that unlocks the Castle, and saves the kingdom from the evil Wario.

Value
In reality, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I've been a part of many video game forums, which have valued this game all the way up to $450, but price guide states $250. Realistically Winnipeg would fetch the lower end, if not less. We sure love a bargain.

In Closing...
This is where "LP" (my co-blogger) would ask "do you think $450 is worth it?" If you're not a collector, then the answer is probably "no", but you decide. LP and I are also taking offers =) but it will probably stay with the family.

Interesting Fact - Wario's First Appearance - Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins.

Nintendo Wii Motion Plus for $3.99 found at Value Village. I don't know if it was a screw up from an employee as the Motion Plus attachment was in the rubber sleeve. It may have been overlooked when they put it out on the floor. Nintendo did release Motion Plus controllers, only time will tell if the attachments are sought out for in the future.
